Some bright ideas...

Scouring the net we have come across some interesting web-sites which may assist you to prepare for your next trip.

The first is SeatCounter.com. This site allows you to enter your city of departure and arrival and one or more airline codes.  It then displays the seat availability for the dates that you specify.  Very handy in case of last-minute bookings, award flights etc.

The next one is Airtimetable.com.  This site offers a range of links from 'arrival and departure' times, seat-maps, airline meals, flight tracker etc. You may be interested in travel medicine, travel warnings or the Jet-lag calculator.  Check it out.

Then we have SeatGuru.com. A site dedicated to providing you the best seat-maps around.  Click on the airline and then the type of plane. Also lots of other information like Laptop Power Guide and finding the best seats.

And then of course we have Tripadvisor.com, a website we use always before selecting any hotel overseas.  Type in the hotel name you are interested in and you can read previous guests comments etc.

Finally there is Flightstats.com.  This site has loads of links and interesting information.  For example; you key in the airport name and receive details of departures, delays, local weather etc.  Check it out.
